What is Occupational Therapy?

Assesses a client's ability to deal with daily tasks of living and/or working.

Teaching of new skills can lead to independence in dressing, hygiene, domestic and work activities.

Provides a smooth transition from; hospital to home.

Co-ordinates home assessments where aids can be installed to provide continuity of independence once a client has returned home.
